  • Inhalers are only supposed to be taken during attacks- The first and foremost way of treating asthma is by putting the medication into the body through the nasal route or by inhaling. So, inhalers are actually the first medication that is given to a person with asthma and are to be used even after the attack in absence of symptoms to maintain the disease.
  • An asthmatic person cannot exercise- It is widely believed that people who have asthma should not and cannot exercise. On the contrary, it is suggested that they exercise as per their health allows because it helps in improving the health of the lungs. In fact, reducing weight helps in less frequent attacks, and obesity can also be a contributor to the seriousness of the disease.
